I want to take you on a comprehensive tour of the updated report sections, demonstrating how you can interpret and leverage them to gain even more value from your SEO campaign.
If you’re already familiar with our monthly SEO reports, you’ll likely notice right away that we’ve revamped the format and overall design. We’ve shifted to a portrait layout, making it easier for you to navigate and digest the information. We’ve also introduced new sections that offer deeper insights into performance metrics helping you to better track and identify opportunities for growth. Our goal is to empower you with tools that enhance your ability to appreciate your SEO program. So, without further ado, let’s dive into the details and explore what’s new…
We’ve added a table of contents for easy navigation, making it simpler than ever to find the information you need as you’ll notice we’ve introduced several new sections to our reports. The table of contents allows you to quickly jump to any section, giving you full control over what you want to explore.

The highlight summary is designed to showcase the most positive data points from the month, giving you a quick snapshot of the campaign success. These highlights will vary from month-to-month, focusing on what’s most impactful for the campaign during that period. Each section of the report such as Search Engine Rankings, Google Analytics and Google Business Profile Insights will have its own set of highlights. This way you can easily see the top performing areas across different aspects of your SEO strategy.
We’ve added an exciting new section that focuses on next month's deliverables. In this section, we provide a sneak peek into the upcoming work and strategies we’ll be implementing. This preview not only keeps you informed, but also builds anticipation for what’s ahead. By giving a glimpse of the future, we aim to keep you more engaged and invested in the campaign, creating excitement to see the results unfold. This approach helps strengthen commitment and loyalty to these important services.
This section is designed to provide you with a clear overview of both completed tasks and upcoming work. As you can see, there are two columns: One that details the total deliverables completed in the current month, and another that projects future deliverables as the campaign continues.
This forward-looking approach not only keeps you informed about progress, but also helps visualize the ongoing value of the campaign. By getting a glimpse into the future, we aim to enhance and strengthen the understanding of your optimization services. You’ll notice that this focus on projections is a recurring theme throughout our updated reports.
Whenever we complete on-site optimization during the month, this section will be updated with all the relevant details. You’ll also find links to documents that provide an in-depth look at the specific changes made to the website. These documents will outline the optimizations so you can easily review the work that’s been implemented and understand the impact it’s having on the performance.
We’ve completely revamped our Search Engine Rankings page for Google, Yahoo and Bing to provide a more comprehensive and insightful view of your campaign performance. We’ve included a few key highlights drawn from the initial highlight summary page while also expanding the overview of keyword rankings. For example, we now focus on primary keyword by showcasing how many total primary keywords you have, how many are ranking on page 1, how many are on page 2, and how many have improved or maintained their positions? This gives you a clear snapshot of your most important keyword and their progress.
In addition to primary keywords, were also additional keywords that have emerged as a result of our ongoing optimization efforts. In this section, we highlight how many of these additional keywords we’re monitoring, and how many have moved onto page 1, offering a broader perspective on the growing impact of your campaign.
One of the exciting new features we’ve added is something we call Opportunity Keywords. These are keywords that are ranking on pages 2 to 5 - just on the cusp of breaking into page 1. By identifying these opportunity keywords, we aim to give you a strategic edge, allowing you to focus on terms that have the potential to significantly boost your visibility.
We’ve integrated the keyword ranking graph from our dashboard directly into the monthly report to visually showcase the growth and progress of your keyword rankings. This graph specifically highlights the number of keywords ranking on the first page, giving you a clear picture of your SEO performance at a glance.
As you can see, we track the historical keyword rankings overtime, allowing you to see how your keywords have moved up in search results. Additionally, we’ve included a projection feature showing where you currently stand this month, and where we anticipate your rankings will be in the coming months. This forward-looking projection is designed to help you stay focused on the future, providing insight into the ongoing momentum and potential growth of the campaign and your online presence.
We’ve maintained our familiar rankings table, making just a few design updates to enhance its clarity and usability. This table still provides the key information you’re used to: benchmarks, previous months rankings, and the current rankings, all laid out in a format that’s easy to follow.
In addition to these rankings, we continue to report on local maps, knowledge panels, and carousel sections from Google. These features are highlighted with specific icons next to the rankings, allowing you to quickly identify how your site is performing in these areas. This consistency ensures that you can easily track progress while benefiting from a cleaner, more intuitive design.
The additional keyword page remains largely the same with only a design update. on this page you’ll find a list of all the emerging additional keywords for your accounts, giving you a clear view of new opportunities.
The Bing and Yahoo sections are similar to the Google section, following the same design format. The only difference is that we continue tracking and reporting the Bing and Yahoo rankings in addition to Google as an added value for you.

And the Rankings Table...
We’re really excited about this new addition to our reports… Google Analytics insights are now integrated directly into the monthly reports - something many have grown accustomed to seeing in our dashboards. Now you’ll have easy access to these insights right alongside the other SEO data. We start with a highlight summary that features the stand out points for the month. From there, we incorporated a visually appealing overview of key Google Analytics metrics. This includes overall visits, the percentage of new visits, the breakdown between new and returning visitors, total organic traffic and the proportion of organic traffic relative to the site’s total traffic, as well as the total number of page views. This integration offers a comprehensive snapshot of website performance making it easier than ever to understand the impact of our SEO efforts.
We’ve also incorporated a graph to provide a visual representation of the traffic data. This visual element helps to quickly convey trends and patterns, making it easier to grasp the overall traffic performance at a glance.
In addition to Google Analytics insights, we’ve also integrated Google Business Profile insights into the reports. Just like the Google Analytics section, we start with key highlights to give you a quick overview of the most important data points.
Following the highlights, we’ve provided an overview paired with a graph to give a clear visual summary. In this section, we focus on key metrics such as total views, total searches and total actions taken for the month. The accompanying graph further compliments these insights, helping to visualize the trends and performance at a glance.
In the backinks section, we’re excited to introduce a dynamic new graph that not only shows the number of backlinks created, but also provides a forward projection, helping you visualize the ongoing growth of your link profile. We’ve highlighted the total number of links generated, offering a snapshot of our efforts to strengthen your online presence.
We’ve included a selection of those backlinks directly in the report for you to review. Additionally, we’ve provided a link to a comprehensive document that lists all the backlinks created throughout the month. This way you can easily access the full list without overcrowding the report itself.
We retained our popular Heat Map reports, which have always been a favorite feature in our reports. While the core functionality remains the same, we’ve given them a fresh new design and an improved format, making it even easier to analyze user interactions on the website.
The same goes for the Overlay Image and Scrollmap Image features. We’ve kept them intact in our new reports, ensuring you continue to benefit from these valuable tools, now presented in our updated format.
And finally, we’ve introduced the Site Uptime Monitoring report. This feature, drawn from our dashboard, provides detailed information about the website’s uptime percentage throughout the month. We believe this is a valuable addition, offering a crucial metric to monitor and ensure optimal site performance.
