This month I would like to talk about a couple of features that can seriously up your game in website lead generation. So, if you use your website to generate leads like most do, or if you would like to, then listen up!! 💖
We at Digital Aspect have delved into embracing the power of Artificial Intelligence. 🦾 It's the latest and greatest in the digital world, and I've realized it's quite a lot more than just a fad - more like a new way of life.
A personal note: I have to admit, at first I was quite resistive to the idea of AI, being a big fan of the Terminator movies, but after a while I have come to know that we'll be better off living with the machines instead of fighting against them. After all, I think the only way we humans can remain in control is if we don't shy away from the steering wheel!
To that end, as a few important baby steps in the right direction, we have harnessed a few AI capabilities within our software solutions:

But the feature I would like to highlight today is our ChatGPT enabled website chat. This coupled with the ability to automatically gather contact information from website visitors, enabling further marketing strategies to those who have shown interest by visiting your website.
As we focus on WordPress websites as the best and most versatile way to create websites, we have launched two new plug-ins. But first, some lazy AI research on the subject of website leads...
I think it's safe to say that businesses invest a lot into generating leads online...
I was curious, so I asked ChatGPT:

Alright... maybe not the most definitive research, but you get the idea!! ;)
Here's an example. A potential buyer/client lands on your website, they like what they see but they have a couple questions, they are the shy type, so they decide to use your chat feature instead of calling (or they just leave if you don't have one.) They wait for a few minutes after sending in a message. Nothing happens so they leave, or at best, there is an automated answer saying "someone will get back to you."
Now, enter the two solutions I allude to above:
1. Website Visitor Identity Capturing
You invest in ads, social media, emails, etc. to encourage prospects to visit your website and take action, only the great majority will visit the site and then leave without a trace beyond an uptick in your Google Analytics.
They land on the website and they're asked if they accept cookies, etc. Through this, they grant permission to share their information with you. Instantly, you have their name, email and many demographic data points to help you navigate your market. They do not need to fill out their information in a form - this is automatic.
From that point, you have the ability to send them follow up emails, such as a pleasant warm-up campaign to get them into communication. You can add them to your regular email newsletter (like this email from me to you.) You can write to them directly with a personal message, etc. Whatever you choose to do, the point is, the customer journey can be continued.
Add to this the AI chat feature. Now when they choose to reach out to you, no matter what time of day or night. The AI chat feature - trained by the entire contents of your website and blogs, and everything you have fed it separately - it will respond conversationally with practical answers the website visitors can USE. And it will encourage the visitor to leave their contact information for further communication with humans at a later point. Even better, if they chat with your AI during working hours, the bot will seamlessly relay the chat to a representative on your end to continue communication with this potential customer.
This is working wonders in increasing website conversions.
